Hi, I have a 1961 Grumman Olson on a Chevy platform that I am attempting to bring back to life. How do I identify the specific Chevy chassis that it is built on? (Trying to figure out what repair/maintenance book to buy) Thanks for any help Michael

By the looks of the wheels, it is most likely a 1 ton 30 series......C30. Since it is a 1961, it could have parallel leaf/solid axle front suspension or torsion bar independent front suspension also. It could possibly be a C40 which would be more rare/unusual. There should be a blue ID tag attached somewhere.
    Have fun
