I have a friend, Tony. He grew up in Victoria Bc area.[Cobble Hill] . From1967 - 69 he built a rod. It has a 331 caddy with a ford 3 spd manual trans and a 49 ford car style rear end. It is sitting on a modified deuce frame. It still has the 1960s top and paint job. The engine has not been rebuilt. The car was off the road for almost 30 years. He did go through the car and rebuilt the brakes and the exhaust tires and a few other things which needed attention and he just put it back on the road a week ago. I will let the pics speak for them selves.

Nice piece of work there. Are those frame rail covers up front?

Fantastic! Hope to see more of this great rod. The old-timers in this area where Tony built the rod still talk about it.

    That's a cool little RPU.
While I understand the draw some have to radials, I can't help but imagine how visually appealing more period rubber would be.
    Any interior shots?

COOL!! My kind of Hot Rod. I see you are in Enderby. Is that where the car is? If so will it be at the Penticton show this weekend?

Nice to see Tony got it done. I owe him a phone call. When he isn't driving the wheels off the truck

  10. Nice build right there - like it was done back in the day !

  11. Does he still live in Cobble Hill? That where I’m at too.

I first saw it 26 years ago. It was good to see it back on the blacktop.. I got a ride in it too. :)
