Technical Anyone ever hear of a 90 deg inverted flare fitting?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 1oldtimer, May 18, 2019.

  1. I'm looking through my catalogs and online but I only come up with a brake tee. I'm looking for a 90 deg, double female inverted flare fitting. Something that a hard line will just screw into on both sides. I know I can just bend the line but I went easy this time a bought a line kit (cheap too). If I want to use just a union then I have to shorten the pre bent stuff, which isn't saving me time (which is why I bought the kit in the first place). I also like the idea so the fitting will be touching the frame and not the line so rubbing will be at a minimum.

Just think of a brake tee without one port........which I can also do is just to use a tee and plug a port, but that looks like ass.

  2. They're all inv to npt, looks like I'll be shortening lines. The Task Force trucks are odd (at least my panel), the brake tee is on the passenger side frame rail and that feeds the pass front AND the rear......a single line to the front drivers side.

Inline tube has 3 listed in their streetrod catalog.
Part no. El 50, el60 and el 70.
Is that what your looking for?

  5. My local Napa lets me dig through the bin of fittings.

  6. Thank for looking, but those look to be npt and not inverted flare.

tomic. Thanks for the brake fitting web site. There is no need for cobbled together brake lines.
