I was using one of those gear oil pumps earlier today and my helper didn't look like that.

 

The Quincy Automotive Peters & Frank twin driven by Bob Muravez, before the Freight Train era.

 

Do you know are they MELS or FEs?

 

Neither...SBCs.

 

LOL that is good news the back mag caught my eye and got me confused. Looked again at the headers and sure enough SBC.

It is Scotty's T roadster.

 

No, Edelbrock TR-1, it followed the Ridgerunner by a year or two. It was designed with ports that projected up from the plenum floor and in street use fuel would fall out of suspension and collect there.
After a trip to OKC for the SR Nats my wife’s cousin had his carbs off and there was a 1/2” of gas sitting there. A backfire might have made things exciting.
Vic Jr. eventually offered a filler for the bottom of the plenum to remedy that situation.
