The Hot Rod Reunion for 2019 was the best in years I thought, no rain, tolerable temperatures, great racing and lots of cars not seen before. More pics to be posted later. .

Thanks for the pictures. Looks like you guys had a fun trip. How many miles is it from Knoxville to Beech Bend?

 

It's just over 200 miles to BG from Knoxville Don via the interstate, but there are some very scenic two lane choices which take longer but offer much better views. The trip over was a blast, I was accompanied by a friend in the Pwood/Barillaro roadster, and his father driving the coupe he bought from me last year.

Had a great time and the weather was perfect. The old flathead ran perfect there and back, over 1000 miles.Our 37 chevy gasser smoked the clutch on Saturday after qualifying in the # 2spot, just part of racing. Will be going back next year for sure!

Couple pics show hell of a lot trailers - enclosed trailers. Owners must be ashamed of their “mantel pieces” or just afraid to drive them. Do they actually run or a return the old show days of fake engines & push in & out of the trailers

 

I drove mine there from Finleyville, Pa., 1100 miles round trip. No trailer Queen here!!

 

I trailered mine because I was hauling 4 days worth of camping stuff for my son and I.
