Event Coverage LARS LA Roadster Show 2019 post pictures here

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by oldpl8s, Jun 14, 2019.

  1. I was just snapping away on my bicycle. But it does look like Louvers all the way back. I think that is a magazine car. Sorry for the post trad stuff just snapped photos and went.

Wish I would have taken more shots. I’ll be out there tomorrow more for the show than selling. So more pics.

No history on that track nose. But it quite nice and clean looking.

Yea, even the entrance price was rolled back to about 2000 (or earlier) too. I almost asked..."are you sure?" $20 for both me and my 54 Stude wagon.

Yep I experienced the same thing, Expected to pay $50 for myself my bud and the truck , Charged me $40

  5. If you think about it 80.00 for a 3 day swap space and 2 people, and overnight parking is a deal.
Yeah those are some early 2000’s entrance fees. Hopefully this works the next year.

Drove my roadster out to the show today and what an improvement now that the LAR Club is back in control. Seems that the word got out to the loyal followers and everything was better organized and the number of cars and the swap area appeared to be twice what was witnessed the past couple of years. Long live the LARS!!!!!

No you are not seeing things. The entire car was louvered.

Can't see how that paint job could be that screwed up with natural wear and tear. Maybe someone helped with the patina. Talking about the orange A roadster.

Looks like someone already drove the snot of it, and it looks like it lives outside, Wouldn't change anything but the name on the pink.

We rolled in about 6:20 or so and got in line with those ahead of us. We only waited a short time before they started letting us in. We picked our spot, then it filled in around us. That's my 47 coupe, along with @39ChevyBob 's coupe, and his buddy Roger's Mustang. Later another friend, came in with his 55 Chevy.

This 32 roadster belongs to a fellow HAMB member and So Cal resident, but I don't know his handle here on the HAMB. His name is Dan, he has a beautiful wife, Marie, and a beautiful 64 Bel Air too (yes, he's a blessed man). This is a brand new car, still under construction, but put together well enough to bring it out to the show. Great job Dan, it's beautiful. Love the color!

The weather was perfect this morning. Overcast and cool. Tomorrow should be good too.

Great to see the show having positive turnout this year.

  24. Such a great day. Weird, I couldn't throw a rock without hitting a '40/'41 Ford p/u today. Great seeing Mike and Scott again.

Mine in the background.........SHADE!!(thanks to Blues for the picture).
