Asking for advice on how to find and match up a replacement piston ? Have a balanced set, found one with a 1.5"crack on the lower edge of the skirt. These look to be low dollar cast, no name pistons.
Summit does show a Silvolite/KeithBlack UEM-SI.422-040 @ $80.99 seems a bit much for what I think that I need.... Thanks, Dyno Dave

It's not easy to match them without buying a new set. $80 for a single piston isn't too far out of line, really...I'm hoping to get one for my Hudson for less than that, but not much less.

I called them yesterday about the piston I need, they said "special order"....they don't seem to stock them, they make them as needed. I'm not sure what your waiting time is worth.

    1. E-Bay, E-Bay, E-Bay; there's a complete set of new, .040 over, but they're almost $400.00. As they say, you wanna' play, you gotta pay.. am Butch/56sedandelivery.
