Dad and I have owned a bunch of '31-'35 Chevys. Dad bought his first 34 in 1959. I grew up going to NSRA events in the back seat of a '34 Town Sedan. My first car was a '36 1/2 ton. love old Chevrolets.

    Don’t buy anything .....

    I have period perfect N.O.S. 550-17 ( Blems)

    Just for that car.
I will give them to you.

    You just pay the freight.
    Ok ?

Put them on the car and post a picture with them.

I have been waiting for the right car to come along to put these tires on and this is it.

    Perfect.....

Send me a private conversation with your phone number and let’s catch up.

  9. Those old Chevys are beautiful cars and it looks like a good, solid coupe. Congrats.

If you need instructions on washing a "barn find" car......there is a thread on here somewhere with good instructions....

  10. I always take *TWO* trailer spares. Been plenty of trips where both were needed!
Great find there, looks to be a real nice solid car. Some clean-up, bit of time to get the mechanicals sorted out, and i bet it is running soon.

My first hot rod was a 33 Chevy 3 window . With a 324 Olds. I learned to gas weld on that car as all the wood was rotted and I used square tubing to hold it together. My mom kept asking where are all the coat hangers going ?
    Great find !

Yep, he sure is, but I sent him a PM to let him know that I could not accept his generous offer, as I may not end up keeping this car and I didn't feel comfortable taking the tires if I wasn't going to keep it. This is a great site with great people, for sure!

Ah, don't sell this car. Oh well, it's yours do as you please but I'd have love to seen it washed and vacuumed out and an attempt made on rubbing out the old paint and waxing it. I bet it would look like it had been on the road all these years. Too bad.

Gonna do some cleaning on it for sure. I need to finish my '31 and work on the Nomad...still contemplating on what to do. Wish I had the means to keep'em all!

Neat little car. I always thought those years of Chevys had big vent windows.

Great car one of the best looking rod materials out there. Sadly many of them died on dirt tracks around the country

  23. Would stovebolt 6's transplant easily in those ?? Ran into a sedan, that looked bone stock, until the hood sides were peeked into. Pretty damn interesting ...
