Just picked it up last night. Bought it from a lady a few hours from home. Belonged to her dad, who bought it from his uncle in 1960. The uncle purchased it new in 1935. Cool, solid old car. My dad owned a '34 3W from 1959 til the early 90's. It was built, raced and street-driven back in the 60's. love these Chevy 3 windows! Great find! Doesn't look like it'll be hard to get it up and running.

That's righteous. You can almost smell that old car smell looking at the interior . Kudos .

Spent today just putting the bumpers back on, grill/shell and a few other pieces that had been removed. Need to get a few decent tires for the front, free the brakes and then try to get it running. Supposedly ran about 10 yrs. ago. Then...wash it! A buddy already said to leave as is, but I gotta clean it up and dig the vac out.

  27. Hey Paul55

I think the first coupe project I started back in the day (late 1970's) was 1934 3 window...the guy put it on Corvette chassis...they are super cool...biggest issue I remember was the amount of wood holding the body together...love the looks of them...keep us in the loop as it goes along...
