Regarding the "center of gravity" and the "center of pressure", technically, this is 100% correct (whether it applies to the Plymouth, that I can't say). Picture a "dart" or an "arrow" in your mind. The center of gravity is toward the front (the heavy end is in the front) and the center of pressure is in the back (the feathers on the dart or arrow). The feathers on the rear of the projectile (or vehicle) cause aerodynamic "drag", and thereby, keep the rear of the dart "in the back". This is why so many salt flat vehicles or LSR vehicles have a "fin" in the back, to cause drag so the vehicle continues to go straight, just like the feathers (or plastic feathers now) on the back of the dart cause the dart to go straight. Anyone that has ever played a game of darts knows what happens if you ever throw the dart backwards, it turns around in mid flight (because the "weight" is in the front and the "drag" on the feathers is in the back) and hits the dart board pointy end first...

My Dad had a set of these. He used to be able to load a half-ton of chicken feed in the back of a 50-something Plymouth and the car rode level. Of course, every road was a back road / "secondary" road, so no highway speeds. (I don't think Dad drove fast back then, either.)
