this year was the 30th edition of the Ciney retromoteur swap meet in Belgium, THE event for the old cars here ( I goes there each year since I'm 5 years old ) here are some pictures I took yesterday
Thanks for sharing the pics. Your swap meets are certainly different ,in that they appear to lack large quantities of hard mechanical parts for cars . More like a flea market swap. Do guys bring out mechanical parts , engines , carbs, axles etc for the European cars? There were some interesting cars in your second posting.
there are tons of sellers for new parts there if you are looking to restore a car, but there is 500 sellers in this swap meet which is nothing compare to the US but you can find some great things there there are also some large parts like motors, doors, hoods, wheels, axles,...
Flea market ??? You should come to swap meets in the states now, most are nothing but flea markets. If we had cool stuff like that at least I would not feel like I wasted a day of my life going to them! lol Larry
Have to agree there, there was almost as much non automotive stuff at the little swap meet I went to yesterday as there was parts. You are going to drive the pedal car and sign collectors nut with this thread though. Lots of nifty stuff there in that respect.
thanks here are some more pics from the last years sometimes they are rods but it's more classic cars than rods I came across this one in 1997, never seen again
...How about this Ole Blowhard......Man that's funny... @citroenantiques yeah it's a different world over there but there its lots to pick at to get the vibe going that's for sure...thanks for sharing the treasures...
