    Local Chicagoland racers Nick Gaglione in the Nova up against Dick Stokes. Both started in Gas class tri-Chevys but eventually moved up to injected nitro F/C class.

    That is “Big Tommy” Larkin who ran Top Gas and sometimes Top Fuel, he also operated Air Lock Blowers.
    There was also “Little Tommy” Larkin, no relation, that I remember seeing running T/F at the Indy Nationals in 1968. Little Tommy’s car at that time had no nose piece, that came later when he partnered with Al Weiss. Tom seemed to have towed out there by himself, a far cry from today’s racers, I remember him servicing the car all alone in the pits.
    Both Tommy’s were from Southern California.

    Posted by cruiser John back in April and all that I can tell you is that it is obviously a European car, most likely from somewhere in Scandinavia.

    Caspary and Stokey. If it is 1964 Glen Stokey is at the wheel, in 65 it would have been Jeep Hampshire.
