Hi Sky Pilot, here's what I built to remove and install bodies on my cars. A twelve foot A frame that can be taken down and reinstalled in minutes. Costs were around $50.

Skinned the panel off its frame -doing some test fitting--- going to have to make a total flat panel -into compound curves--- one way isnt bad--- but front to back -the ribs said N0! lol 001.JPG 002.JPG 003.JPG 004.JPG 005.JPG 006.JPG

Top piece seems to be fitting pretty decent. I love that plate with the pelican on it! This shows where I put my plate, but it still may change. IMG_1651.JPG

Those ribs didnt want to give... Had to do some step down on the wooden bows , as well as trim back the need header--- when i look back the pictures made it look EZ -but was very time consuming --just wanted a different look .

  15. The roof looks like it came out very nice. Worth the effort I would say.

Save the pieces you cut out. Someone will need them to fix a top that was chopped too much

I saved my pieces on my last 2 chops and had 2 different people email me about them. I gave the them away for shipping fare.
