Any thoughts on keeping the rain out while letting the air out???

I think most just run them without inner troughs and if it rains the effect is minimal if at all...I have seen many running without Hoods and Tops in the rain...Most louvers are open to the backside not the opposite this no doubt allows rain to pass over when driving.

Some add a trough with a hose attached to move water away but that would eliminate air flow depending on how you make it.

Of avoid rain like me if its a Fairweather ride period.

Just a fantastic picture...Polished Aluminum is so Hotrod and looks great Polished, Faded, Painted and of course Punched with Louvers...What I find super cool with this pic also is the reflection in the Polished Side Panel...Priceless

This Timeless Hotrod is also sporting Hairpins and Filled/Smoothed Wheelwells

Good Job Luke...Did you pick up that technique from the Hamb? Why I ask is there have been at least 2 Hambers that I can think of who did Louvers using this method that Posted info and pics to share this with the others over the years...

Thanks for sharing and don't forget to share all your Hotrod louver adventures. Post up a pic when you get them all painted up...and don't forget careful sanding those suckers...;)

Thanks stogy I'm very happy with them the company that did my 38 willys hood charges around $15 a louvre so it was very cost effective to try it myself plus the steel was free from a friend
I got the idea from here somebody posted that was how they did it but didn't see any how too posts

    Here's my 38 willys hood
