Ordered some Auburn Deluxe Radials at the Detroit Autorama Show...they have a a great look and ride super, the Wheel Smith Wheels are a plus also and the combo balanced out nice. IMG_20190413_141308117.jpg

Wow those are great looking radials.
    Alittle in the expensive side.
Up to 300 each for wide whites.

    AUBURN DELUXE RADIAL 15-16″ SIZES

    $229.00 – $309.00

  8. yeah Diamondbacks are not cheap, but are probably the best classic car tire on the market. Way better than Coker. I have had a set of redlines on my o/t 68 camaro for years now and they ride great and the redline is still nice and bright.

Their website is horrible to use on a mobile device, I was trying to get a look at the black walls but all I’m seeing is white walls and color pin stripe options?

Could be a great alternative to the coker excelsior tires, which are a radial with a bias plie profile but not the bias plié look as fad as tread and side wall go.

  13. They do offer them in blackwalls too.......gotta save some money for some on the '28.

They look great, don't forget to post up some input as you rack up the miles. I want to see how they wear and act on the road. Bias are pretty good but wear quick.

Damn so they finally came out, that's cool. Thought they gave up on making them after years of delaying.

Did you pre-order or what? I called them last week and they told me it would be October before they ship.

I've seen that color on a few new Jeeps around here and thought it would be right for a hot rod and was right for once. Man those tires look just right on that truck.

Bias aren't much cheaper and have half the life span.

Yeah but aren't we all supposed to replace radials after 5-6 years whereas bias ply last a lot longer? I suppose the rides's the thing.

Probably so. That in itself is a raging debate. My old bias wouldn't get nearly the life, mileage wise.

You didn't get the beauty bars they offer in the whitewall. An extra 20 bones per tire! You dint think it was worth the upcharge or didn't like them

Are you still satisfied with your Auburn Deluxe tires after the first season?

They should make tires out of the same material as straws are made of.
Plastic straws last too long, but millions of 6 year old tires are filling up landfills all over the country.
Greenies should focus on BIG problems first!
