Look at the colors! Not like today where most of them are silver, black or white.

Sliced deuce, et all: In early '67 I was assigned to an air force base in Biloxi, MS., with a bunch of other US Army folks. One of our group, Frank, had an old car that gave out and he bought a used '60 Plymouth 4 door from the Biloxi Yellow Cab, Co.

One day after much alcoholic beverage on the beach Frank decided that is car would look better chopped. So Frank, a large guy, started jumping up and down on his yellow cab to "chop the top". Soon the top was about 3" above the dash and all the windows were broken out. He thought it looked much better but the gate guard at the base would not allow it on base because it no windshield.

I wish I had a picture for you but I do not.

I think maybe some foreign intern was looking over some shoulders at the ‘60 Plymouth design desk.

Good question, it's listed as the Smith Speed Shop Spl. 1965. At first I thought it was the ex-Chenowth car that Ray Smith owned around that time but the nose is longer and the rollbar is different so apparently Smith campaigned more than one roaster in 65. Here's another pic from Phx. 1965.
