And I like that is a real driver, hence the spare tire wear/fade spot in the bed!

Pretty rare that I say this about a car, but there isn't anything I don't like about this one. I think I'd classify it as a custom, but it's still very purposeful.

Just when you think you see all the cool rides there in a given weekend, you always seem to find one that you missed. Very cool looking truck!

Man oh man, another feature vehicle that I wouldn't change a thing on.
Who wouldn't be prouder than heck to wheel around in this little hauler?!

I usually lean towards the Chevy side of things but a 56 F100 is a bucket list vehicle for me. My favorite truck of all time and I dig em customized. This one’s a beauty. Really dig the nerf bar out back. Great pics too!

This is the classic timeless build that was popular 15-20 years ago, is popular now, and will be popular for the next 15-20 years.

Chrome reverse / spiders and whites make the truck.
Def - late 50's early 60's custom ERA with the custom grill, canted headlights, front/ rear work.

    Anal retentive?
    Obsessive Compulsive?
Do you switch the light switch on and off 5 times, every time? Do you stir your coffee for 10 minutes?
Do you cut grass with a ruler?

Very few vehicles have the wheels perfectly centered in the wheel well. If you notice many 50s and 60s cars and trucks, the wheel is not centered especially in the rear wheel well.
Look and Model As and especially Model Ts. The front wheel is not centered. You don't really notice it because there is other things going on, other design factors.
Sometimes the wheel offset actually makes the design flow better. It's the big picture, not the small picture.

A centered front wheel on an Effie to me looks odd. It makes me nervous.

I'd left the hood shut...but I like the look of the truck and the tire/wheel combo.

As an Inspired Custom it's a beauty...and nicely complemented with the artistic eye of @Tom davison...

Thanks for sharing...53-6 Ford Pickups are a force in the Big Picture dressed up or down...

off center an inch or so not too bad, off center 5 inches not so good. by the way I own a 53 f100 and no I don't cut grass at all ..

  25. Beautiful truck no doubt.
One question, if he wanted to smear the thing with Chevy parts, why didn't he build a Chev?
A 56 Chev is a beautiful truck too!

Beautiful truck. I don't think Tom has ever taken a bad photo.
