Folks Of Interest Bill Carter passed

Bill Carter passed , he was well known on the west coast. Carter Pro Paints ,as well as Top Fuel driver, and owner. Really came on the scene with Watson, and ran one on Larry’s shops.

 

Wild Bill was THE painter for fuelers at one time. RIP.

 

RIP Bill, He painted a 41 sedan delivery 4 me back in the 80's

 

I use to hang out a little at his shop on Burbank Blvd. early 70's and he painted my 66 Dodge Van. He was always gracious and a great influence. Very Sad.

 

Ahh Bill Carter, he painted the Wiess and Larkin fuel dragster ( formerly a Howard Cams entry), back in 60’s.

Sad to see that. I remember the "painted by Bill Carter" on a lot of dragster features in magazines.
