I have a 1950 Chevy Deluxe that I'm planning on installing a 283 sbc and TH350 trans. I'll be ordering a replacement radiator with standard top and bottom tank, and cooler in bottom tank (lines spaced approx. 12" apart) What is everybody doing for trans cooler lines. Are there any pre-bent lines that might work? Or that are the best choice for starting

Just made my own. -6 line for flex and 3/8 steel line for the hard line. Bent and fit.

1966 Chevelle with TH-400 trans should be very close to correct length forward of the engine and oriented for bottom style tank radiator. Will be the same as TH-350 back at the transmission end. Th-350 trans didn't come out until 1968, by then cross flow radiators were the norm..

Advance has Ni-Cop in various sizes.....good stuff. It all can be bent and straightened by hand.

  6. I've used repop for tri five chevrolet using a 350 turbo. 400 will have to be bent a bit as the trans cooler holes are just a little different. Then modify the radiator end to fit the radiator.
