Thanks. He's my upholstery teacher. Been apprenticing with him for two years now. He has taught me so much.

Looks to me its a 41 inner frame. 40 s frames were inverted with open end on the inside.

Had a little time tonight so I cut a small piece of fabric from the roll I'm going to use to upholster my 32 and practiced Dick Gerwer's way of doing real roll and pleat. A little more difficult doing it this way because all of the measurements are different, but the pleats get nice and deep. It has been a while since he showed me so I needed to practice. This fabric should work out nice. IMG_20190522_221832_652.jpeg 20190522_214524.jpeg

Spent the morning refitting quarter window wood and got both sides mounted. Here's a tip that will help your upholsterer. When mounting this wood for the final time, you will need your glass and your garnish molding. Put your quarter window wood in the slot around the window opening. Then put your quarter glass in, and then garnish moldings in far enough to pinch the glass. Pull the wood out towards you until its in line with the garnish molding edge or just under. Thats where wood needs to be so your upholstery panel doesnt stick out way past your garnish moldings or way in. IMG_20190620_131037_480.jpeg IMG_20190620_131037_475.jpeg

Framed out mounting strips for the interior panels. Got this really cool cling wrap that protects the paint while working on the car IMG_20190721_184729_501.jpeg IMG_20190721_211612_117.jpeg
