I want to just keep it AM, don't want an FM conversion, etc...just want to transistorize mine and have AM....I'm out of tubes, and not sure if I can find anymore, and to be honest they don't last that long.

So does anyone know who can modify mine, keep the same face of it?

    Thanks

  2. Not really a answer to your question, but on mine I installed the face plate from the radio, and put fake knobs on .Looks stock.Replacement radio in the glove box.

Note if you take a later model radio and modify it the knobs/shafts on the stock radio are wider apart. This is why you see most dashes hacked up. There’s a guy on here that does six conversions and he may know. I don’t know his handle tho.
