I don't think so. The biggest Dodge Hemi was 325 Cubic Inches, in '57-'58...

This is a competition hose vehicle built for inner cities on time showed on wide world of sports. Cities raced each other and it was as a hoot hauling a** between dropping a fireman with hose and speeding dropping 2 others as the first guy connected the hose to the hydrant and turning it on.

Google 1957 D501 for the details, it was said NASCAR wanted 100 built to make them legal, but it’s believed only 56 were assembled including a very few convertibles. Also, in 1956 they built the D500 with a 315 hemi, somehow Arnie was able to purchase both a D500 and D501. I recall seeing a photo of Beswick with his ‘56 Dodge D500 posted here a couple of years ago, but there was no ID with the photo. It may even have been in this same thread.

Okay, I stand corrected. Apparently, there were a few '57 Dodge D501's with the 354 Chrysler Hemi, including Arnie Beswick's. I had never heard that before nor have I ever seen one, and I was around during those early years with the S/S crowd. I guess that none of those 354 conversions ever made it out west. It was not until 1962 that NHRA mandated that all cars in the stock class had to meet minimum production availabilty standards, so it's not unlikley that NHRA would have permitted a 354 inch Chrysler in a '57 Dodge provided that Arnie had the documentation to back it up.

Arnie and his '56 Dodge D500, with the 315" Dodge Hemi engine. A fine engine backed up by a crappy 3-speed manual trans, the bane of all early Dodge/Plymouth racers until the Torqueflight trans took over a few yeasr later. Arnie was always brand loyal, and would never have left the Mopar world if they had had a decent manual transmission. Look how long Arnie stayed with Pontiac as an example, even after GM pulled out of racing. Remember, Arnie is the guy that was given a 427 A/FX Comet by Mercury, a full time factory gig, and tuned it down to go back to racing a Pontiac with no factory support...

Has anyone ever found a photo of Arnie drag racing the 1957 Dodge D501?

    from central NY

NY 7 & US 20, just west of Albany. NY7 is a route that begins at the Pa. border just south west of Binghamton and proceeds northeasterly to the Vermont border just north of Albany. Duansburg is a rural community located at the intersection of US 20, an East West federal road the was the precursor for and stills runs parrallel Interstate 90. If you happen to be on an East West trip through NY, I would encourage you to seek out and travel on RT 20 instead of pounding along the dull toll road that is the New York thuway. Especially if you are driving your HAMB ride.
