The update is good. I just got a clean bill of health from the disease doctor. Next stop is surgery, then a couple of months of recovery followed by years of rusty junk!

You will be in my prayers . It’s not a manly thing to do to discuss prayers , but they do work . I’m living proof 26 years ago this March 12th , I can remember like it was this morning a Dr coming into my hospital room and stating “ you have stage 4 cancer in your limp nodes . You have a 20% survival rate for 5 years .” Well the prayers and God’s will pulled me through thus far . Again I’ll be praying for you and your family . Now about the Willy’s , I see you now have a 3W to tinker with , hell why didn’t you contact me ? We both could have been happy campers ! Good Luck , all will be fine .

I threw the willys up for sale to fund life after surgery. I had the 3w already, it was just in need of a lot of frankenwelding. It all worked iut and with gods grace and some good surgeons i will be around to see it on the road. Prais gos for the everyday miracles, and thank him for rusty fords to tack together!

Having been in the fitness industry for over 25 years and working with cardiac groups, patients and doctors for that time I can tell you the most important thing is to be active once you can and stay active. A doc told me long ago “motion is lotion” your body is the only machine that improves by being worked! So don’t be afraid to work it with common sense of course!! Buy a good chest strap heart monitor and get your BPM up to a comfortable working pace and do the work. Ever have any questions message me any time!!

Projects are great for recovery time as long as you don't push it too hard. Even when you may not feel up to working on it you can build in your head.

I am in week 3 of physical therapy following my heart attack. 5 days a week of working out and like I told my wife this morning, I have cant remember feeling this good. My order of priorities goes like this; Take care of yourself first, keep the wife happy, make sure the kids know you are spending all your money before you die and then build cars and have fun driving them...and for all the children of the world to join hands and sing together in the spirit of harmony and peace.

Just a word of assurance Jim. Sept. of 2013 was my time on the table. Aortic valve replaced, three way bypass. It was a Monday, was home Thursday at noon. Never felt a thing, never no pain, was on my feet walking Tuesday morning, and back to my old self in a week. Best of every thing, just keep those rides roll'n out of the shop.

Went in for stress test Sept last year, then Angiogram stopped and said I needed the whole works. In October had heart surgery in for a week, then Cardiac rehab until January. Now my back is weak but I just replaced an axle on my 57,brake shoes, new wheel bearings. I go a little slower but at least i'm still going . Take time to heal then go slow!
