Saw these today .

 

I was afraid to ask the price (T roadster ) but this one had a high cool factor as simple as it is.

I did see the price on the A sedan an it is a real good thing that I didn't have ready cash burning a hole in my pocket as that one would have come home with me and a bunch of stuff I have woud be for sale.
I should have bought that mount just as a wall hanger if for nothing else.

Sometimes it is just fun to get in any car and go for a drive to the beach, down the coastline and visit some friends. The perspective of So Cal is different than most places, even in California. Those who enjoy it are still here. Lifelong residents, like us, just can’t get over the fact that we are happy living on the Westcoast. When we travel to other places in the USA, comparisons are bound to pop up. For us, we like where we live.

One of the reasons is that despite the fact that there are plenty of cool hot rods all across the country, So Cal has its share of them as daily drivers. One of them stood out on our last outing down the coastline. Every time we drove down this major street, something stood out in the back parking areas of the lots. Once we stopped to investigate, out pops this cool looking, blue, 1936 Ford Coupe.

In thinking back to our days as teenagers in So Cal 1957-64, this 36 Ford Coupe image is what we used to see as daily drivers in our cruising grounds of Bixby Knolls. Nothing fancy, but a clean look, representing the actual So Cal 50’s and 60’s style that most people are looking for online, these days. There are still remnants of that style still hanging around in So Cal.
