Some years ago, there were several people on the HAMB (well, a few) who did long distance car hauling at reasonable prices. Are there any of those folks still active?

I'm considering having my '40 transported from Long Beach, CA, to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area in time for the Back the '50s event next month. Pickup could be any time starting now, and arrival would need to be no later than June 20.

    Can anyone help?

There are very few that I would trust with my vehicles. The 2 that keep coming up as super reliable and trustworthy are:

Boy that would be great to see your 40 in person at Back to Fifties. Hope you work it out.

I really hope to be there. I got three recommendations for reliable haulers and wrote to all three; two have already said that they're committed elsewhere. Fingers crossed!

  6. I have done business with BenD, Rick and Bill and was very happy with all 3, the only problem with any of these guys is they are usually booked a couple of months in advance. HRP

BenD and Bill are both booked. Haven't had a response from Rick yet.

I have used BenD and Racinman and they are trustworthly but as you have found they are booked up quite in advance. Reliable Transport offers enclosed multi-car hauling. I have used them 2x with success. They might have something already going to Minneapolis from the west coast. Good luck.

That - is not enough notice.

A guy contacted me today - wants a car picked up next week.

Got a call yesterday - guy wanted pick up the next day.

On average - it takes (4) to (6) weeks minimum to build a trip to haul a vehicle.

I am available next from Montana in about a week.

I can pick up in Idaho & Eastern Washington.

I really think so! I've arranged for the car and us to be transported, and have a place to stay. There may be unforeseen obstacles, but I'm not aware of them!
