I think it was Ryan that started a thread on 40/41 Ford Trucks, a 20 or so page picture heavy thread of trucks. I need it for some research and I cannot find it doing a search. Anyone? It would be appreciated.

Thank you! The more the merrier. I wont be buying tires and wheels until later as I am planning on custom back spacing and I need to mount the box, fenders and boards first to make sure I fill the fenders correctly. I keep changing my mind on what I "thought" I wanted for rolling stock.

It is funny, If I louver the hood it seems to alter my mind's eye on what wheels I end up with.

  7. Anyone know where I can see some pictures of the 40 truck with 38 deluxe front end on it?

  8. This is close...a 38-39 truck with pass.car sheetmetal

With a little slicing and dicing, wonder if it is possible.

  13. I don't often give advice and God knows I like near everything Automotive. What I do know is that a little bit of every time frame of Hot Rods built into one makes an Orphan. You have a Chassis and Drive train that Dates your truck already. Try to stay close to that Date with the rest of the build and you'll build a Truck we'll all admire. 17's won't do it right in my book.
