Last time I saw mine it had a 460 on it I sold. Guy asked if he could use the stand to help unload it at home.

Been a year and a half now...guess he's having issues getting it out of his truck....

  6. This one is down and ready to go back together. Not a future project engine for me but some lucky stiff is going to own it.

    Mostly Hemi's on my stands.

Blown 392 is ready to go into my Model A, I keep saying that and yet here it sets.
    IMG_2891 (Small).JPG IMG_3018 (Medium).JPG

Another 392 but this one is in the machine shop getting a couple of sleeves, this engine was a mess but it will see street time someday.
    IMG_3005 (Medium).JPG

Another early Hemi this one a 354, it also gets bored to 4" and gets the six carbs.

    IMG_3012 (Medium).JPG

And then one more 392 gathering dust under the work bench, its next after the 354 at least that is what I hope.

I bet 429 shotgun blower manifolds are rare as hen's teeth for that motor.....

Model B from H and H in LaCrescenta. Waiting for me to fab up the pieces to mount a modern top shift Jeep (Ford) 4 speed on the back and hook it up to the torque tube of my 29 in my avatar. 1554454854891340_resized (Small).jpg

How about a chromed out 1962 Corvair Spyder turbocharged engine? 150 HP out of 145 cubic inches. This will be a display engine heading to the Chevrolet Hall of Fame Museum in Decatur, Illinois. The Corvair club has a display there of some very cool Corvairs. The engine needs a few more details and a chrome air cleaner and should be on display after the International Corvair Convention in St. Charles in July.

Nothing traditional. Just a late model iron block 346 LS motor built for a turbo application.

Rotating spindle is 2" schedule 80 pipe. Engine bracket is built on a piece of 2.5" schedule 40 slid over the outside and pinned with a bolt and nut. I've only built the A/B bracketry so far, but I see no reason why a V-8 couldn't be attached to it.
Right angle box and chain reduction total 76 to 1. Very easy cranking to any position with lock pin holes every 30 degrees. It's bolted to the corner of my approximately 2100 pound bench with a 1" plate top. Haha, I'm not worried about it tipping.

  19. No pics... you wouldn’t want to see the inside of my barn. But I have a junk flathead that was a World of Wheels display, the small block out of Von Franco’s Frankentiki, and an Olds 303 destined for the Willys RPU project.

I swapped tail-housing and output shaft over when it was rebuilt.

  21. The old blown up 383 out of the Henry J, I like to swap intakes and valve covers on it for something different to look at

Then I have this balanced with forged guts, 11 to 1, 4,000 mile 355 that's destined for the 57 p/u
