Technical Howling jet noise at rest end

Before you blame the rear end , you might want to check the center carrier bearing , I believe that is a 2- piece driveshaft , also that may have a double - Cardan( sp) ( constant velocity) joint at the rear end ......

 

Give a try over at the Cadillac-Lasalle Club forum,there is a good bunch of guys there that can help too,they can tell you what type of fluid you need and help diagnose it,google the club forum and it will pop up,you will have to join to post but it is not a big deal. Haarvey
