    Hey all,
    I found this nicely made heavy duty looking flywheel tool at Pate a couple of weeks ago and snagged it out of the $5 bucket. At least I thought it was a tool to grab the teeth and turn an engine at the flywheel. It really doesn't work for that. There is a tool number on it "Cal-Van 196" but google that number and you get a ball joint tool. The tip is replaceable via an allen head set screw. I don't know what else to call it to get an idea. Thanks in advance.

    That’s a tool to adjust upper control arms. I have one that I used on 60’s & 70’s full size Fords.

    Mustang II, Pinto, Bobcat and a few more caster/camber adjuster. The pin on the end goes in the hole in the crossmember, the "C" goes around the control arm shaft to move the control arm in/out to adjust the alignment. One of those things that make a front end guy wish he had three arms and hands before he is done. There isn't an RWD engraved in that somewhere is there? I traded one back to the tool truck guy to settle part of my bill with him in 1977 before I moved back up here from McGregor.

    Thanks everyone. I occasionally run into the M2 suspension. It will go on the wall with the pullers and such. Probably still a good deal at $5. @Mr48chev , no engravings or markings other than the part number. I am so glad to have the HAMB to help me with this stuff, especially when Google fails me.

    @iwanaflattie that's funny, but sometimes you ain't right. :)
