It will stay yellow. Just need to strip the old cracked lacquer and repaint it.

Might as well update this thread. Best version on this car yet. Absolutely blast to drive and stare at! IMG_20190515_145726_629.jpeg IMG_20190515_145726_626.jpeg 20190515_142435.jpeg 20190515_160048.jpeg IMG_20190515_155855_996.jpeg

What all did you change this time around other than the fenders? You stepped the back of the frame this time right?

You mentioned it riding well is why I asked, though maybe you’d played with the springs more than minor stuff or changed shocks.

Overthinking getting ours to ride nice so I’m always being nosey as to what other people are doing there

I actually added 1 leaf to the rear. Nothing else suspension wise.

Honestly it drives and handles better than my 48. It's like a go kart with super slow steering! Haha!

  16. should leave it alone to me as its perfect the way it is, course those things with valve covers don't appeal to me but who am I, build it your own way, donate the flattie to a youngster and that will make two people happy.......;)

This car will always and forever be flathead powered. I plan on leaving exactly like it is for a good long time. Got another baby coming early next month so I wont get much shop time for a while!
