This was my 8th consecutive Stray Kat 500 and it did not disappoint. Lots of great cars and, of course, lots of great people. So without any further ado, I will get this thread rolling. SK500 19 OMD-1014_5_6-2.jpg

You're welcome and thanks Dave( @drdave). I did about 6 or so versions of that image. That one is the reduced saturation color version. Thanks Brett (@bchrismer) for tagging Scott on his car. Welcome aboard Snowman (@jim snow ) and @catdad49.

You're welcome and thanks @BLUSHU. Since you were interested on what I sometimes do to pictures and asked about it on my Jalopyrama thread, here is a pretty extreme example. The Chrysler wagon image has had a ton of things done to it, though it may not be noticeable at first. The car basically looked great, considering the dull light, but the rest of the picture needed some cleaning up. I'm not sure it is even finished yet and I may try a few more things once I have time. Here is what it looked like as a RAW image before any mods.

Thanks Dan for coming down to hang out with us. Like everyone on the HAMB we enjoy seeing your pictures. You make it look easy, we over look all of the hard work you do to capture the right shot. Or is it just camera shooting, photo developing fairy dust. Whatever it is you are Blessed with a lot of talent, you always get the right angle.

  22. I've never even experimented with photoshop, so not sure how much time is involved with doing it.
How much time do you spend on the average photo?
Even the cracks on the road are gone...……
    Wow.

You're very welcome Mick (@straykatkustoms ), Jim (@HarryT), and Tom (@wide34). Thanks a lot for your comments. Thanks again Mick for creating such a great event year after year. @BLUSHU - I don't really know if there is an average photo when it comes to working on them. The one above has about 1 1/2 hours or so in it.

  26. Your hard work pays dividends to us HAMB folk.
I honestly didn't realize the amount of time per photo.
Thank you for your efforts and keep up the great work.
I can't wait for you to go to another car show!

You're welcome and thanks again @BLUSHU. That picture actually took much longer than most. The first picture in the gallery only took about 15 minutes. Sometimes they take only a minute or two. It really varies.
