My little 289 screamer is coming together...short blocks done...Trick Flow heads have been ordered....gotta get the trans out for a rebuild, converter, and shift kit..hope to be on the road in a couple weeks..can’t wait to get the Blue Falcon cruising again with about 285 more HP...

 

I've got a third gen. O/T Falcon that has occupied all of my attention for the last 5-6 years.
I've always wanted a earlier model but couldn't find a decent car that I could afford.
I lucked into a decent car that wasn't too expensive or too damn rusty.
Unfortunately it's the third gen. ,not exactly the prettiest bird.
The cool thing is I almost always have the only one anywhere I go.
All the cars in this thread point out the heritage of my car & I don't care if they were traditional or not, they are really cool competition cars & they are not a _ustang!

My dad's car is not a Gasser, it's a early Altered Wheel Base Funny Car. A straight axle don't make it a Gasser, just like a straight axle don't make it a AWB Funny car!! Trucks come with a straight axle, does that make it a gasser?? Duh

 

Understood...And hopefully didn’t ruin your day..your Dad’s car is bitchin..and I probably bend the rules....a lot....if I see a cool Falcon “drag car” be it gasser, AWB, etc or a nice street car I tend to throw it up here to keep the thread alive...otherwise this thread would likely be done for ..here’s some real live Gassers
