Technical Need help with Speedometer

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by keith27T, May 12, 2019.

  1. Any recognize this speedo?
What to put it in my T.
Is there a cable or adapter that I can get to hook it up to a Turbo 350.
Been searching online but can't find much info. thumbnail_IMG_2365.jpg thumbnail_IMG_2366.jpg thumbnail_IMG_2367.jpg

Contact HAMBer @e1956v he can make you a cable. If the speedo needs any servicing or a complete rebuild, he can do that, too. He did a phenomenal job rebuilding my speedo and making a custom cable.

Agree with Speed-on. Rusty can definatly help. Texas Electic Instruments has just about any adapter you can think of. Rusty sent me there.

I'm in So Cal using Rusty.. Living in Canada shouldn't have anything to do with it. You've showed us photos, call him and send them to him for advice on what to do. Make sure you tell him guys on the HAMB sent you too him.

  9. If you can find an older shop that has the speedometer cable equipment, you can have one made to your specs. The one in our town closed 30 years ago!
I've had Rusty make a couple of cables for me, and they used that Ford type speedometer end. (1947 in my case). Made it to my length as well. Quite reasonable. I'm in Canada too, but he shipped to my US shipping address, and I picked them up.

  10. Email sent.
    Thanks guys

Keith contacted me and it's no problem getting him squared away.
Thanks to all of you guys for the recommendations, you don't know how much I appreciate it.
Montana I'll try to get some pictures to you of Charlies 29 RPU, he finally painted it Guards red and it came out pretty good for being done in the garage.
