I’m trying to order up some parts for refurbishment of shoes drums and springs...would like some help narrowing it down to some certain GM years to help the counter guys and myself . 53.25” from backing plate to backing plate. 60 inches flange to flange.
    Thank you

hold the camera back a ways so we can see the whole thing? :)

measure the ID of the brake drum, and the width of the shoes. (edit: never mind measuring the diameter, it's 9.5")

It was made April 15, 19x5.

Probably 1975 Nova or something, if the shoes are 2" wide

  6. It apparently fits 322 Chevy applications. Take your pick. (The drum, that is).

Well got the stuff home for a 75 nova and most ‘looks the part’ however my wheels studs are 1/2” and the nova must have been 7/16”

Know of a drum that won’t require drilling?

they were all 7/16 stock, so no, you'll have to drill them...or keep your old drums, if they're not worn out. Did you mic them?

Pulled axles and am going to put this back together using a ‘stock’ package including new axles, bearings, seals... and all the junk I already bought. I’m sure it will be come self evident what this officially is soon enough....

But here are a few more photos of the parts list, 28 spline
