I did a modern drive train swap on my 1960 Lincoln and was wondering if I could connect the Lincoln’s original generator wiring to a GM one wire alternator ?

Yes, but the only wire you need is the BAT wire from the regulator...the other wires won’t be needed.

image.jpg So on the Lincoln wiring harness I have a larger yellow black striped wire , a black red stripe wire, and a black white stripe wire. I don’t need to hook any of those up ? Just a battery wire from the starter to the alternator.

Google wiring an alternator in a 1960'2 Ford car. You can do it so the idiot light still works unless you put in a voltmeter. If you add a lot of electrical gadgets you may need to enlarge the wire size.
