Hot Rods Skinny front tires

Anyone running 135/15s on steel wheels,What size are you using,Thanks Lucky

 

135's aren't very tall.....155 and 165 seem to be used more. Guess it depends on the application.

 

Ran 135 on 15" on my bugs for years back in the 90s. I used 135/15 tires on 15x4.5.

 

I'm pretty sure these were 135's only about 23 inches tall if I remember right

I like a tallish front tire. Seems like Volkswagen tires is a 180 or so and in a 70 series is in the 28-29" tall range.

 

I run 165 80 15 on 15x4.5 wheel

 

1:45 SR 15 on 15 X 6 Americans.

 

I have a friend who's driven his 34 Ford highboy coupe all over the US on 135's on vintage Halibrand smoothies. No problems.
