Hey, everybody! Down here in New Orleans our traditional scene is pretty small, so we've decided to test the waters and see if we can get something going. We're going to hold our event on Saturday, May 18th. The plan is this - pre '65 cars and traditionally styled bikes. We're going to meet at noon at the restored Art Deco Lakefront Airport for a "Blessing of the Rods" and about a 1hr. Reliability Run down into the bayou. After that, we'll head back to Royal Brewery which is located in a quiet industrial part of town. We're going to make a couple of trophies for "People's Choice" car and bike, but that's it. No pressure. We've got a local surf rock band lined up, and will get at least one more band. And we'll be projecting movies like "Giant Gila Monster" on a big screen. Probably gonna have a good truck. The beer at the Brewery is top notch, and they're offering half price pints for the show. I'm open for advice, this is my first time organizing something like this. But, luckily, it is the Big Easy, after all! Sent from my SM-G950U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
