Get well soon, I had the same surgery 12 years ago, tough for the first month after that, much better. I've had no problems since then. Yep, catheter out is a big milestone! "If you don't mind me asking did you Doc use a robot for the surgery? My friend had his done and the Doc was watching a monitor and the robot did the actual work following the Doc's hand motions." My surgery was robotic, kind of cutting edge (pun intended) at the time.
Yes it was robotic. Had catheter out this morning. Better yet pathology came back negative. All cancer gone! Thanks!
Best wishes to you and God Bless the wives in our lives. I am glad your results came back negative . We will keep you and your family in our Prayers. Ron and Mary.
Great news, Mark ! PSA tests in the future will be a piece of cake. Glad your labs were negative, that's a huge relief, I know.
No more C? Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! Excuse me for a moment... Ummm...God?...thanks. I'm back. So glad you're getting better, ct. You dance real good, Danny!
Rick, I'm sure God had a hand in it, and as for the dancing I have a lot more hair and I ain't been skinny since I was a teenager! HRP
Really Great News, Mark. Going in for a consultation this afternoon. No C, but PSA still going Up. Wish me Luck.
Fantastic, good things DO happen to good people! I wish you a boring and speedy recovery, one thing for sure is you've got the Hamb that'll be here for you! Best Wishes, Oj
Mark: I had the catheter in my for 7 day's when for some crazy reason I could not take a pew no matter how hard I tried. I found it really hard to sleep and one day while standing in line at Walmart I realized I was taking a leak and I swear I quickly started looking at the floor until I realized it was all going in the bag strapped to my thigh. Maybe it God's way of telling us all to slow down and smell the roses. Best of luck and take it easy. Jim
I wasn't going to say anything ,but all this talk about peeing fits into my life too. I am waiting for a phone call to remove a kidney that has cancer inside. I advise everyone to see their Dr. and get checked out for your own good. I've had bladder cancer removed twice in the last thirty -two years. Thanks to check -ups, it was found early and removed before it got too big. Good thing, we have two kidneys.
My wife had the same thing with the bladder. She is now cancer free. Yes get checkups. Good luck with the kidney. Saying a prayer!
I know what it's like to come back from a serious health problem. It helps to have inner strength and a positive attitude. Obviously, you have both. Best of luck and good health to you.
