Don't know anything about the club but do know that Dennis O'Brien has the original pattern for that plaque so my best guess is that it was around in the 50's or 60's.

  8. The one I'll run at the moment. There is whole group of clubs that were involved in the Tacoma Timing Assoc. This one was active in the late 50's at Stadium High School in Tacoma Washington when my dad went there. Something intrinsically funny about a spud on wheels. IMG_1190.JPG

I was hoping you would know if Kimp is a town or if KIMP stands for something.

Here's one I purchased, as you see it, in Davenport Al. For $5.00. The guy hauled scrap metal, and said it was off of a weird looking old chevy. He had no other history, and all my reserch has come up blank. 20190105_112611.jpg

  24. There was a Kingsmen Car Club in Mobile, Alabama, but it's not the same plaque.

If you look on Dennis O'Briens site he list 40 Kingsmen plaques and you might find where it came from if your willing to spend the time looking.

This is the link, good luck! HRP

Someone sent me this photo for my website but I have no idea if Pistol Bird is a town or if it means something else. Can anyone fill me in about this Grifters plaque? .....

You just sent an email about the Riffs plaque. I posted a picture of it on the board 2-5(?) years ago. Will do a search but still have it and can post in the next day or 2.

Here's a plaque that 40ragtopdown posted on another thread about finding the owner of his 40 Ford Convertible. It's a great story about his old custom.
