Anybody get theirs yet? I thought it had been shipped. Central PA and waiting anxiously!

  2. They are on the way if you have not got it yet. I stopped by their new location last week and they are working feverishly to get everything back to business as usual. I just got mine yesterday, but keep in mind, I am 16 miles from where it got mailed from.

  3. ...............Are you positive, Jason, that they ship them out of the new place there in Richmond (Ashland) or do they come from wherever they are getting printed now? ....Be patient 5window, I haven't gotten mine yet either.............Don.:)

  4. @lothiandon1940 Not 100% positive they come from there, but they had boxes of them, Steve hooked me up with a new one for my Dad and my older son and said they just got them from the printer. Either way, it always comes. Steve, Geoff and Joey are working hard at getting their new spot set up. You can blame me if you like, I took them away from working and they gave me the grand tour of the new digs.

Doubtful. I believe they group magazines by geographic area and get a cheaper postal rate that way.

Mine came in the mail last Monday or Tuesday. Very, very cool ' 40 Buick coupe there.

  14. Received mine on Saturday, April 27th.

Issue Number Eighty One of the Rodder's Journal is a chock-full of great stuff! ... including:
    • a feature article (by @Curt Six with photos by @TRJ) on a '32 Ford 5wd Coupe built by @eastcoast57's father's shop ... with a S.Co.T. blown Olds V8 built by @GOATROPER02:

      BIG TIME.jpg
Veteran drag racer Bobby Hilton is no stranger to early Ford hot rods, and the Deuce five-window he built for Bob Gratton of Homosassa, Florida pushes the envelope like never before. Once an outdated street rod, Bobby and the Hilton Hotrods team rebuilt the coupe from the ground up. With its heavily chopped top, magnesium Halibrands and rowdy S.Co.T.-blown Olds between the rails, it’s unapologetically tough. The best part? It gets driven. Bobby and the coupe made the long haul to the Lonestar Round Up in Texas and the new Congregation show in Charlotte, North Carolina.
    • an article (by @J.Ukrop) about @Jimmy B, his vintage photo collection, his artwork, & his '25 Chevy Roadster:

      Blast from the Past.jpg
Australian artist Jimmy Barter has been on our radar for quite some time now, but we are excited to finally be able to tell his story in the new issue. In “Blast from the Past,” we explore his dry lakes-inspired artwork as well as his expansive vintage photo collection that he has amassed throughout his adult life. As an added bonus, we also share the tale of his recently completed ’25 Chevy that he built in the style of the record-setting Spurgin-Giovanine roadster.
    • a feature article (by @Curt Six with photos by @TRJ) on @DirtyNapkin's '40 Buick:

      A LITTLE OFF THE TOP.jpg
Pre-war Buicks may be rare, but that didn’t stop Napa, California’s Steve Pierce from turning his ’40 coupe into a tasteful early custom. Inspired by a Janne Kutja illustration from TRJ #45, Steve chopped, shaved and further customized the car in his home garage with the help of friends and family. We photographed the Washington Blue Buick in the heart of Wine Country.
    • a feature article written & photographed by @57snrf about his European Deuce Tudor:

      LE SPECCIALISTE FORD.jpg
In “Le Specialist Ford,” automotive journalist Stephan Szantai shares the saga of a very special 1932 Ford that he imported from France. Dubbed the “Euro Deuce,” the Tudor was manufactured near Paris, used and abused during WWII and hot rodded in the early 2000s. Each and every piece of this original-paint survivor has a story to tell, and Stephan leaves no stone unturned.
    • plus much, much more "H.A.M.B.-friendly" content.

  15. ............Finally got to see your car at the Jalopyrama. Very proud of you for bringing it back to its' former glory. What a great story. I would have said hello, but every time I walked by you were surrounded by admirers and/or folks asking questions. A few of us wanted to ask if you knew who did the interior back in the day. We were all speculating that Joe Mack Schubert may have had a hand in doing it, but nobody seemed to know. Joe Mack was doing a lot of upholstery work back in that time period and was in attendance at the event. A life-long hot-rodder and local legend.

Sorry I missed you! I talked to so many of Sonny’s friends, it was a great day! Still not sure who did the interior.
    Thank you!

How did it arrive ? I was very surprised when the brown UPS truck pulled up to deliver mine yesterday.
I used to get them in the mail box.
I can't imagine that delivering them using UPS would be cheaper than Canada Post. :)

  27. Mine came Canada post.

That's interesting, I wonder why mine came by UPS. That's really odd.
