Maybe, I don't know they're not popular on this side of the planet. Now I doubt that they will make splined knock off wheel hubs to fit your car spline drive like Turrino does.

Some progress on version 2.0 of the tail. I think it looks fantastic. The panels still need a bit more tuning. Then I’ll use them as patterns for making the real ones out of 0.063 aluminum. I didn’t want to sacrifice a brand new sheet until I was happy with the preliminary panels. Instagram: @39_deluxe

Any updates? I hate to see this one slide off the radar : My 1st car was a '48 wagon, & I've always had a soft spot for these little screamers! I can only imagine what an 88 cube 8cyl sounds like!!

Here is more progress on the tail section. I used the preliminary panel that I made for a pattern. This made it much easier and faster to shape the real deal. Unfortunately I forgot to take progress pictures of the process. I’ll do that for the other side. This is the pointed section of the tail that gets welded on. This panel took two tries. The first time around I didn’t shrink enough at the end where it comes to a point. So I had to stretch it a bunch by hammering into the sand bag. This caused the aluminum to get thin and crack. I was smarter on round two and did numerous rounds of tuck shrinking along the edge. This required much less stretching to form the point. It still needs a bit more work before it can be welded on. Things will get more interesting as I progress along with the tail and belly pan section of the tail. It will really start to look like something. Thanks. Chris

The right hand side of the tail is about 85% of the way there. I did a round of tuck shrinking on the upper edge to help reduce the amount of stretching. All the work is done with stumps, beater bag, and English wheel. Thanks for looking in. Chris
Sorry it took me so long to find this project, what a great display of craftmanship. I'm trying to get an idea of the overall size, larger than a Midget and smaller than a Sprint Car? Love the wheel work. Bob
