Technology is sometimes less helpful. Steward Warner's net page does not have info I'm looking for. Does anyone know the over all depth from the back of bezel for Tach# 82660? I'm looking into placing one into a cup if possible. Thank you.

Edit. I have not purchased this unit as of yet because of uncertainty of placing it into a cup mount.

I think I have the same tach in my roadster. I can't give you the measurement as it is installed in the cup same as you want to do. Only thing I had to do was to trim the opening for the wiring to come out of. It wasn't quite long enough to let the wires out and let the tach sit all the way back in the cup. Seems to fit ok. If I recall I got the cup from Speedway as well as the tach.

@GordonC can you provide the overall depth of your cup please? Also, do you recall if there was room to spare in the rear area of cup? Thanks

I fixed the title to read Stewart instead of steward....

Same here, the number doesn't jibe with mine though, inside diameter of cup is 3&3/8".
The overall tach. length including the u-bracket is 4&5/8", it reaches exactly to the far end of cup.
    Note:
This is a VDO cup, it was a bit tough to find when I got my gauge set but that was over 20 years ago, might not be a problem now.
