  1. I built this steam engine out of stuff I had left over from past projects and materials I had laying around the work shop. It's turned out to be quite the conversation piece.

  2. Thanks. I always like the COE style so I thought I'd do one with a little different twist.

  6. Has been a week now and each day a bit better. Catheter out on Monday. Can’t wait. Like that water color addition. Thanks for asking, mark

  7. My young son just got into drawing this past couple months and this was his art project at school yesterday, proud dad. It's got a few things out of proportion, and he knows it, but what the heck, he's drawing the ol t-bucket !

  11. Cool show, I'm a bit late to the party but since its still Friday I figured I would toss in a late entry anyhow.

A few weeks back Stogy paid tribute to one of my heroes when I was a young artist growing up and looking for inspiration, "Big Daddy" Ed Roth. So I felt the need to also show my love and respect and whipped up something to honor my mentor.

He's the Original "Rat" rodder. Ol' Rat Fink!

    Happy Friday folks !

I'll play. Resin tiki shift knob, was woodgraining another Packard so I thought what the hell...

I masked the eyes n teeth and applied the grain medium...

Once grained I tinted some clear urethane and applied it til I liked the color...

20190402_154748.jpg I did this as much for Mrs Highlander as for me, we both like the tiki stuff. Its home for a while sitting in her tropical flowers on the side table.
