I love your 40 but not the bigger bumper, not that it matters what I like.

Ran into i.rant Dave at Knoxville Friday. I've always wanted to meet him & it was a pleasant surprise. Nice guy & a great '40. Wish I'd driven my coupe now.

Poverty Caps And Trim Rings For The Occasional Flash Back..

 

I put some Baby Moons on my 40 a couple of weeks ago.

Thinking about adding the beauty rings later this summer. Just put them on loosely to try out the look in the picture below.

 

This nice 40 is for sale in my home town. Wish I had the cash to bring it home.

 

Just added fender skirts to mine to evoke an early '50s look:

I've always liked 40s done 50s style. Might do mine that way someday.

 

IMO the rings are a plus.

I thought the bugs were bad in Missouri! They are huge in Kansas. We needed to stop and wash the windshield more often than fueling up with gas.

 

Keith, I saw your truck at the MidAm Nats, but never saw you.

 

Some pics of my '40 from the local show in Florence, CO and the trip to the Stray Kat 500 in Dewey, OK! 1500 miles round trip, the flathead was a happy one!
