    That car is awesome I want to put a body on my digger but just haven't found the right one yet I've been looking for a 30-31 model a 4 door sedan to use but haven't found one affordable yet I would eliminate the front doors chop the top then weld the whole thing together someday I will get one lol here is a pic of my car I know it's not a comp coupe yet but In due time

    I have seen your car at the meltdown I believe. very nice rail! I have a chassis research copy I have been messing with way to long.

    The root beer and orange car to the right is pretty sleek looking. Have you got more pictures from that show that would show the whole car?

    Got it, thanks. Looks good, wonder why they didn't paint the covers over the original wheel wells. Perhaps aluminum was exotic enough at the time to show it off.

    well we took the car to cobo and really enjoyed talking to the people that either knew dave crane, or new the car , from the years at detriot, indy ,and other tracks. talked to a fellow whose dad owned the car for 3 or 4 years and actually put it on the street in the late 60s early 70s, yes I said drove it on the street! with lites and radiator! I have pics! it was a good time, but I sure miss mr crane. anyway, were going to try and take it to bowlingreen and the detriot dragway reunion. hope to see some hambers out there.

    I think im going to do a thread on the car. I have had a couple people interested in knowing the history of the car, and I have some.
