Technical Disc brake ID...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by rustydusty, May 1, 2019.

  1. Could anyone ID these disc brakes for me? The casting number on the driver's side is: 5232 and the passenger side is almost unreadable. It appears to be: 5262. I would like to replace the calipers and rotors. It also has a Ford script. Thanks 20190501_164728.jpg 20190501_164728.jpg 20190501_164655.jpg

You realize they are on the wrong sides don't you? The bleeder should be at the top. May be why the hoses are kinked also.

  4. Thanks for the info. I will switch the calipers when I replace them.

  5. The '72-'74 Torinos had similar ones, the slide goes on the bottom, they are upside down.

The rotor looks pretty small, so as said above Pinto or Mustang II. If you just want to replace, Speedway has them.
