    Folks,

I want to replace the old cast iron powerglide in my 60 Impala. I am leaning toward a turbo350. Does anyone have any recommendations for a transmission shop in the Denver area?

There is another shop in Denver (the exact name eludes me right now), the owner of which is a friend of Steve from Bert's Model A Store also in Denver.
Call Steve and he will hook you up, I'm sure.
This guy has always done me right and has sold me maybe at least 6 auto tranny's over the years.

Hang on, I got it now, it is called Allstar Automotive and the guys name is Brett.
He is a fair minded guy who you can negotiate and discuss issues with.

Thanks Russ! Sounds like a winner. I knew the HAMB would come through!

The JK Automotive in Ft Lupton is out of business -according to Googs. Detroit Transmission is a lot closer to me in Arvada. Thanks!

No problems as long as you get a good deal and it is close to home that is about all you can hope for.
I have a list as long as my of business I can not recommend compared to the short list of recommendable companies.
