Ran across these photos today (not even sure what category to even post this thread) of what appears to be a 55 clip, on a 56 body, window delivery. But it is titled as a 55 and just how it was made in Columbia, per owner, pretty interesting.
55 Handyman Wagon Jalopized with 56 trim... Maybe the door is 56 and OHHH the wheel wells......The tailights are 55... Maybe they spliced in the wells I will say they have some pretty cool American Iron down that way...I would think its more interesting than that Cuba stuff Damn this sample here is a nice Lil Hotrod... http://www.2040-cars.com/chevrolet/...210-handyman-2-door-gasser-surf-wagon-681999/
Body roll or bead at rocker says 55 with 56 wheel well and trim Sent from my VS987 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I think the bare bones 55 that this one is is called a Handyman Wagon...plain jane and very cool...I think the rear door trim strips are added too. One Fifty Handyman bottom right hand corner below http://www.american-automobiles.com/Fins/1955-Chevrolet-Wagons.html
I believe you are right that the One Fifty Rear Door is two piece/split and the OP seems one so perhaps it is swapped out too?... https://www.hendrickperformance.com/detail-1955-chevrolet-150_station_wagon-used-16585171.html
I say it started out as a 55 Sedan Delivery that they installed side windows in, threw some 56 Bel Air "style" side trim on it, along with pseudo-Nomad lift gate trim, 56 rear wheel openings and a Station Wagon or Sedan Delivery rear bumper. Still has the 55 gas door. Has a 56 small V-8 emblem on the lift-gate. I wonder how much body filler is on it? The best touch are the fog lights. Car actually looks more "Cuban" in repair methods. Its 64 years old. Even I didn't have all of my original parts at 64 so no telling what all this wagon has gone through over the years.
