25TT with manually operated dump bed. I restored this truck in early 80's.

here's one of my wrecks, 26 touring. also have a 14 roadster project, and a 23 roadster/hotrod with rajo over head project. got enough junk for a speedster, but the project list is long IMG_0637.JPG

  8. Posted at the beginning of this thread, but, having just done an indoor show which I have not done in years I thought I would share. I think it was the tallest car there.:D
I trailered it there on the Friday and drove it home on the Sunday, head turning and fun both ways.:D. my Center Door is 96 years old, approaching the magic centenary. It's been in my care for 41 years.

Here is a recently acquired 1915 Ford Model T Speedster / Race Car. This car was built by the Francis A. Mesker of St. Louis in the early 1920’s using a body kit supplied by the Kuempel Hardware Company of Guttenberg, Iowa. This car was kept in the Mesker family till the 1980’s when it was donated to the St. Louis Museum of Transportation. A St. Louis collector purchased the car Sept. 25, 2005 at the museum’s overstock sale.

The car has had many period modifications including the original Kuempel boat tail, two-man speedster body , Rajo "self steering" spindles, underslung front and rear end assemblies, and House wire wheels. It is currently powered by its original and stock 1915 motor, but will get some period speed equipment added in the near future. It is a mostly original car except for the repaint and new seat covers added by the museum.

Looking forward to getting it back on the road.
