The Aston Martin DB4 GT reg. 41 DPX is now painted green, and still on the road; 3.6 engine fitted.

It's almost time for me to re-post my favorite Pontiac pictures., haven't seen them on here for a while.
    I don't usually get complaints about re-posts, either! ;)

Jack Mattes was a well known Wisconsin area driver in the early 1920s. Unfortunately, he was killed on the mile track at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in 1927; possibly in this very car.

My great-grandfather was one of the engineers on this building and my grandmother worked there later in the records department.

You have someone to be truly proud of.
I don't think a modern day engineer could begin to do the things the likes of your great grandfather did without computers.
Engineers with nothing but super intelligence and slide rules. Workmen and contractors using logic and brawn getting jobs done in record time, comparatively speaking

I'll take Ann Margret in those short shorts over your "eye pokers" any day of the week
I lived briefly in Las Vegas when they started construction on that building behind them. They halted construction at about the phase you see in that photo because it was leaning and it sat like that for quite awhile.
It eventually opened as The Landmark.
As I recall it was off the strip on Stardust and ?
